Regional VP - APAC - CLX Communications


As Regional VP for APAC you will be leading a highly motivated and talented Sales team across the region and will be responsible for achieving the next level of growth in the region. You will be the senior person in region and will therefore assist in senior level engagements for other departments and act as a dotted line manager for their teams (IE Carrier Relations).

You will report directly to the COO with your main areas of responsibilities being :

  • Primary responsibility of delivering the P&L – revenue, gross margin, gross profit and controllable operating expenditure for their Region
  • Build a go-to-market strategy to win and retain business, devising sales tactics, setting goals for their sales leaders, managing and directing staff to be successful, working closely with peer’s to deliver a world class sales and delivery experience
  • Peers include – Product Management, R&D, Finance, HR, Customer Advocacy, Corporate Development
  • Create a culture of success and managing ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Maintaining relationships with larger clients by providing information, support and guidance and ensuring CLX become their trusted advisor
  • Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers including all products on the CLX portfolio
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving business goals
  • Actively manage and develop the sales team, working closely with the other RVP’s to deliver profitable growth and top tier customer experience
  • Responsible and manage business OPEX (ex. Sales salaries, commissions, marketing, travel and expenses)
  • Help design, define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership and other company functions
  • Direct the marketing function to support the Regional market requirements and adopt global standards
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports on monthly and quarterly with annual territory analyses.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to managements

Candidate Profile

  • Strong history in sales and meeting sales goals
  • o Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Understanding of customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership skills and experience in managing multicultural sales teams across a wide geographic area
  • Client relationship skills
  • Negotiations and closing skills
  • APAC Regional market experience with a strong network
  • Ability to drive motivation for Sales
  • Self driven and the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in the SMS and Voice industries highly regarded (Aggregator andor network operators)
  • Expected start date is beginning of April 2018, depending on the availability of the right candidate.
